Meet the Team

Dr. Raj is a board certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She earned her Medical Degree from Thanjavur Medical College, India and completed her training from Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia PA in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Dr. Raj loves reading, watching TV, gardening, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.

Jacintha Raj

I am a Medical Assistant. I have worked at Yakima Women's Health since day one. I am often the first person our patients see as they check in for their visits and I also greet them on the phone. I enjoy the opportunity to help our patients get what they need, appointments, information, or a call from the doctor. 

I have been in the medical field for the past 18 years, I was raised in California and have been living in Yakima for the past 17 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, the outdoors and the beach is my favorite place.

I am a Certified Professional Coder and Insurance billing specialist.  I graduated from Perry Tech’s Medical Office Administration and Reimbursement program in 2008 and have been coding and billing ever since.  I am a member of the AAPC and I joined the team at Yakima Women’s Health in January 2012.  

You will reach me if you have any billing or insurance questions.  I aid the reception desk and may be answering your phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.  I hope to make the world of medical insurance billing understandable.  

I am Mom to two grown daughters and three doggies.  Grandma to four and have lived in Yakima for 26 fabulous years.
